Verry Berry Review



RICHMOND, Va. – One of the newest additions to the Richmond dessert scene is a frozen yogurt shop called Verry Berry. The two-story, self-serve business is conveniently located close to the VCU campus at 1309 W. Broad St, right across from the Siegel Center and in what used to be the Capital Garage apartments.

From the outside, Verry Berry’s bright pink sign lights up the sidewalk, but the colors don’t stop there. Once you step inside of Verry Berry, your eyes are bombarded with a multitude of colors and textures. The decor resembles a jungle scene with neon colors and reflective surfaces bouncing through the giant, stuffed giraffes and tropical plants.

Consequences of Drinking

RICHMOND – Drinking alcohol in college is common among four in five students, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

However, heavy drinking and binge drinking have consequences such as vandalism, poor grades, sexual abuse and even death, says the NIAAA. Despite such consequences, some students tend to ignore them and still drink to excess every day.
